Summer School on Distributed Multiscale Computing
The projects MAPPER, MMM@HPC, ScalaLife, and the Barcelona Supercomputing Center are organizing the 2013 Summer School on Distributed Multiscale Computing. The Summer School has a special focus on developing and deploying multiscale applications for and across European e-infrastructures. The school aims at giving researchers the opportunity to interactively learn about the core topics in this interdisciplinary field from experts, and to build a respective network of international contacts. The summer school will take place from June 3rd until June 4th 2013 at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center – two days before the International Conference on Computational Science (ICCS) and its Workshop on Modeling and Computing Multiscale Systems (MCMS). The school features lectures and hands-on trainings from and under the guidance of expert speakers from industry, academia and related EU-funded projects. For more information see the Call for Participation and the (preliminary) Agenda. |
