Request for comments to MAPPER's multiscale computing roadmap
Following recommendations after the 2nd review, MAPPER has produced a roadmap identifying steps required to attract communities. The roadmap was implemented in the final eight months of the project. About 25 individuals were approached, some of which six actually started to use MAPPER, while others confirmed that they would start to use MAPPER later. MAPPER trained them, offered support, and some of them are already producing results that will be presented in scientific publications. Moreover, MAPPER actively disseminated to eleven projects, resulting in varying levels of collaboration. MAPPER has had a very active collaboration with PRACE and EGI, resulting in true uptakes of MAPPER technology. Finally, a number of scientific communities are now aware of MAPPER.
In order to further boost the roadmap implementation, however, MAPPER kindly asks stakeholders devoted to multiscale computing for feedback. We are especially interested in critical reviews of the roadmap and in additional requirements and new results. We are grateful for your feedback to info(at)mapper-project(dot)eu.
